To the Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem

and bears a sacred mission, Rav Chaim Moshe (Rav H.M. Weber, of Jerusalem; see Letter 5385),

I greet you and bless you.

I have finally received from you a somewhat detailed letter, even if it was not as detailed as it should have been — that of 15 Iyar. Although you do not specify this, preparations are surely being made, sufficiently in advance, to take advantage of the auspicious days and especially the festivals, without waiting until the last minute.

In a pleasant vein, one may recall the difference between the exodus from Egypt and our imminent redemption. Indeed, "our forefathers left Egypt in haste," whereas now, "you will not be redeemed in haste" (Yeshayahu 52:12), as various texts of Chassidus* establish, in particular the conclusion of the sequence of discourses entitled VeKachah (by the Rebbe Maharash*).

The redemption must be prepared, in a manner that foreshadows it, during the time of exile, and one can deduce from this everything that has been said, including the necessity of reporting on actions accomplished. In this regard, at least in the future, you will not wait to be asked several times. You will institute this report at least once a week. And one can verify concretely that by having to render accounts, one is more inclined to make concrete use of the potential at one's disposal — of revealed forces and sometimes even of hidden forces.

May Hashem grant you and your wife the success of giving good tidings of your activities, each in his domain and in the framework suited to him. These will grow ever greater, in accordance with the need and necessity of the moment.

סו"ס נתקבל מכתבו מפורט קצת אף שלא כל צרכו, מט"ו אייר, ובודאי אף שאינו מזכיר עד"ז עושים הכנות בעוד מועד לניצול ימי הפגרא ובפרט ימי הימים טובים ולא סומכים על הרגע האחרונה. וע"ד הצחות יש להעיר מהחילוק דיציאת מצרים וגאולתנו הקרובה לבוא אשר בבהילו יצאו אבותנו ממצרים משא"כ עתה אשר לא בחפזון תצאו וכמבואר הענין בכ"מ בדא"ח ומהם בהמשך וככה בסופו, וכיון שהגאולה תלוי' בהכנה מעין זה בזמן הגלות מובן מזה ג"כ הנ"ל, ובזה נכללת ג"כ ההודעה ע"ד הפעולות שגם בזה - עכ"פ לעתיד לא יחכו לדרישה כ"פ מכאן אלא שינהיגו סדר להודיע עד"ז אחת לשבוע עכ"פ ורואים במוחש שהכרח ההודעה מוסיף ג"כ בההבאה לפועל מן הכח, מכחות הגלוים ומזמן לזמן גם מכחות הנעלמים, והשי"ת יצליחו וכן את זוגתו תחי' לבשר טוב מפעולותיהם כ"א מתאים לענינו ובמסגרת המתאימה אשר הן הולכות וגדולות מתאים לדרישת והכרח השעה.

בברכה בנוסח הרב הוא כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר לקבלת התורה בשמחה ובפנימיות.
