Blessings and greetings,
I am responding to your letter, in which you tell me that several young men have proposed marriage to you, but nothing has materialized concretely.
It is quite evident that one must not be distressed by this, Heaven forbid. You must take the firmest resolution that when the Creator of the world, Who directs it, enables you to find a good match, you will direct your home on the basis of the Torah and the mitzvos*, which you will observe in the best way. A sincere decision on your part will enable you to find the match that is right for you.
You tell me that someone mentioned a witch to you. Forget all of that entirely! The Creator of the world, Who directs it, protects you. Sorcery therefore has no power whatsoever, Heaven forbid. As I said, you will adopt the conduct befitting a virtuous Jewish girl, who is a descendant of Sarah, Rivka, Rachel, and Leah. In this way, you will intensify the blessing of Hashem, Who gives the Torah and the mitzvos, in all your needs in general and in finding a good match in particular.
You teach a class, and you must therefore strengthen within it the fear of Hashem and the practice of the mitzvos. In this way, your own needs will be even better satisfied.

במענה על מכתבה, בו כותבת אשר רבים בקשו להתחתן אתה, ולעת עתה לא בא לפועל.
ומובן שאין חס ושלום להתרשם מזה, ועלי' להחליט בתוקף הכי גדול, שכאשר יזמין לה בורא עולם ומנהיגו שידוכה הטוב תנהג ביתה על יסודי התורה והמצוה בשמירת המצות בהידור, וההחלטה בזה באמת, תמהר שתמצא זיווגה הנכון.
ובמה שכותבת אשר אמרו לה על דבר מכשפה וכו' תסיח דעתה מזה לגמרי, כי בורא עולם ומנהיגו שומר עלי' ואין לכישוף כח כלל וכלל ח"ו, וכאמור לעיל תתנהג כיאות לבת ישראל כשרה שכל אחת מהן נקראת בשם בת שרה רבקה רחל ולאה, ועל ידי זה תתוסף בברכת השם יתברך נותן התורה והמצוה בהמצטרך לה בכלל ולשידוך טוב ביחוד.
וכיון שלומדת עם כתה, עלי' להוסיף גם כן בהנהגת הכתה בעניני יראת שמים וקיום המצות, שזה יביא להוספה בהמצטרך לה לעצמה.
