By the grace of Hashem*,

I greet you and bless you,

Through the intermediary of the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem*, of manifold accomplishments, Rav* Dov Ber Baumgarten, I received your request for a blessing, which will be read at a propitious moment at the holy resting place* of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit* protects us. May Hashem* grant that you convey good news of its contents.

I was pleased to learn from him that you had the merit of being a student at the Yeshivah* Tomchei Temimim*, in the country where we were previously. Now, the words of the righteous are living and immutable. How much more so their actions — in particular those they invested in the students of the Yeshivah* Tomchei Temimim*, whether directly, if they visited them, saw them and spoke with them, or indirectly, through the teacher or the dean, who received instructions from the leaders directing the Yeshivah* Tomchei Temimim* on how to guide the students.

Granted, the years may cause all of this to be obscured. Every object must, from time to time, be cleaned of the dust and impurities that accumulate upon it. But this does not call its value into question, and with the appropriate effort, one can remove this layer that veils and conceals. The object then appears in all its purity.

In truth, every Jew is a vessel* to receive the blessings of Hashem* — spiritually, through Torah* and mitzvos*. The same is true materially, for your needs — children, health and prosperity — through the cleanliness and purity of the vessel*, through its purification, attracting and developing the light it contains. Indeed, the spiritual and the material go hand in hand, as it is said: "If you walk in My statutes and keep My mitzvos*... I will give you your rains" — and all the blessings mentioned in the Parshah*.

You surely know of the three studies that concern everyone, established by my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit* protects us. These concern the Chumash*, Tehillim* and Tanya* and are well known. At the very least, you will adopt them henceforth.

ע"י הוו"ח אי"א נו"נ רב פעלים הרה"ח מו"ה דובער שי' בוימגארטען קבלתי הפ"נ שלו, אשר יקרא בעת רצון על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, ויהי רצון שיבשר טוב בתוכנו.

נעם לי להוודע מהנ"ל אשר זכה ללמוד בישיבת תומכי תמימים במדינתנו לפנים, וכיון שדברי צדיקים חיים וקיימים לעד, עאכו"כ פעולותיהם, ובפרט הפעולות אשר השקיעו בתלמידי תומכי תמימים אם באופן ישר אלו התלמידים שזכו לבוא אליהם לראותם ולדבר עמהם, או בעקיפין על ידי הר"מ והראש ישיבה שקבלו הוראות הנשיאים מנהלי ישיבת תומכי תמימים בהנוגע לתלמידי התמימים אשר בהנהלתם.

מובן שאפשרי שבמשך השנים מתקבצים ענינים המכסים על זה ובדוגמת כל דבר שצריך מזמן לזמן לנקותו מן האבק והחול המתקבץ על פניו, אבל פשוט שאין זה משנה טיב הכלי, ובהתאמצות המתאימה מסירים הכיסוי העשוי המעלים ומסתיר, ורואים הכלי בטהרתה.

והרי כאו"א מבני ישראל, כלי הוא לקבלת ברכות השי"ת ברוחניות זאת אומרת התורה והמצוה, וכן גם בגשמיות, המצטרך בבני חיי ומזוני רוויחי ונקיון וטהרת הכלי וצחצוחה ממשיך ומרבה באור הנמשך לתוכה, והרוחניות והגשמיות יחד יהלכו, וכמה שכתוב אם בחקתי תלכו ואת מצותי תשמורו וגו' ונתתי גשמיכם וככל הברכות המפורשות בפרשה.

בודאי יודע כבר משלשת השיעורים השוים לכל נפש מתקנת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע בחומש תהלים ותניא הידועים ועכ"פ ישמור עליהם מכאן ולהבא.
