To the members of the Nusach Ari* synagogue,
in Albany Park, Chicago,
may Hashem grant you long life,
Greetings and blessings,
I have had the pleasure of receiving your news through the Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem, of manifold accomplishments, Rav Yitzchak David Groner*. He has no doubt himself conveyed to you what is taking place here — in particular, the Chassidic* farbrengen* of the luminous day of 12 Tammuz*, the liberation of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, leader of Israel, whose merit protects us.
I was particularly gratified to learn that you have instituted the practice introduced by the one whose joy we celebrate — namely, the daily reading of Tehillim* according to their monthly division, and the reading of all the Tehillim* on the Shabbos* that blesses the month. This is in addition to the times that are otherwise devoted to the public study of Torah*.
May Hashem grant that on High, the prayers of the members of this synagogue be answered, that all blessings and all influences be granted. The channels for obtaining them are Torah*, prayer, and in particular public study — for all the members of the community and their families, in all their needs, spiritual and material.

בנועם קבלתי פ"ש מהם על ידי הרה"ח וו"ח אי"א נו"נ איש רב פעלים וכו' מוה"ר יצחק דוד שי' גראנער, אשר בטח מסר גם כן פ"ש מכאן ובפרט מההתועדות דיום הבהיר י"ב תמוז, גאולת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר נשיא ישראל זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע.
במיוחד שמחתי להוודע אשר הנהיגו את התקנה של בעל השמחה, היא אמירת תהלים בכל יום עפ"י השיעור החדשי, וגמירת כל התהלים בש"ק מברכים, נוסף על הקביעות עתים ללימוד תורה ברבים.
ויהי רצון שיקובלו למעלה התפלות דמתפללי בית כנסת זה, ותומשכנה כל הברכות וההשפעות, אשר הצנורות להמשכתן הם עניני תורה ותפלה ובפרט לימוד התורה ברבים, לכל המתפללים הם ובני ביתם שיחיו בהמצטרך להם מנפש ועד בשר,
