To the directors of the Yeshiva* and the Talmud Torah*,
in Kfar Chabad*, may Hashem grant you long life,
Greetings and blessings,
I am replying to your letter from the conclusion of Shabbos* Parshas Mattos*:
A) You ask me whether the yeshiva* should close so that the students may participate in the summer camp.
In any case, there is a closure of ten days, to which it will therefore suffice to add a few more days. This is therefore advisable, especially since study time is also scheduled during the camp.
B) You ask me about tuition fees from those who could pay but refuse to do so.
It is obvious that appropriate measures must be taken in this regard. However, I have good hope that it will be sufficient to threaten those who refuse to pay with the publicizing of their names.
C) You also ask me a question about the method of collecting tuition fees.
In fact, everything depends on local conditions and, more broadly, on those of the country. On this matter, you will all consult together with the moral committee of the Kfar.

במענה על מכתבם ממוצש"ק מטות.
א) בשאלתם על דבר הפסק בהישיבה באופן שיוכלו התלמידים להיות בקייטנה.
הנה כיון שממילא עושים הפסק של עשרה יום ויהי' רק הוספה של ימים אחדים, כדאי לעשות כן, ובפרט שגם בקייטנה יש סדר לימודים.
ב) בשאלת שכר לימוד מאלו שיכולים לשלם ואינם רוצים.
מובן שיכולים לקחת האמצעים המתאימים לזה, אבל תקותי אשר אם יזהיר את המסרבים שיפרסמו שמותיהם גם זה בלבד יועיל.
ג) בהנוגע להגבהת שכר הלימוד.
זה תלוי בתנאי המקום ותנאי הארץ בכלל, ולכן יתייעצו בזה ביניהם ביחד עם ועד הרוחני של הכפר.
