Greetings and blessings,
I have duly received your precious letter of 18 Menachem and the one preceding it. I thank you for the good news of the improvement in the health of Mr. David Bar Chanina, to whom Hashem shall grant long life. May Hashem grant that he recover fully. Indeed, our Sages, in Tractate Sanhedrin* 98b, establish a connection between the names Menachem, David, and Chanina, and the redemption of Israel.
At an auspicious time, I will mention those you cite in this letter at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit protects us, so that they may obtain satisfaction of their needs in accordance with what you write. May Hashem grant that concerning them as well, you bring me good news soon. And the sooner the better.
With my respects and blessing to convey good news of all this, including in the future.
