Greetings and blessings,

I am responding to your letter. I read with horror that there is consideration of terminating a pregnancy, Heaven forbid. You will surely awaken in the heart of the person who conceived this plan the idea of abandoning it entirely. The pregnancy will conclude as it should, easily, with the birth of a healthy child.

Indeed, such is the injunction of our holy Torah*, Torah of life. And when one follows the ways of the Torah*, when one puts its teachings into practice, one knows success — material and spiritual — one enjoys good health, earns a good livelihood, and leads a happy life. May Hashem grant that you convey good news of all this.
