To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem, Rav Chaim Meir (note: Rav C.M. Garelik of Kfar Chabad, see letters no. 4789 and 5734),
Greetings and blessings,
I thank you very much for your letter bearing good news — a true good that is, in the expression of our Sages, "good for Heaven and good for the creatures" — the beginning of the construction of the foundations of the Mikveh* (note: the Mikveh of Kfar Chabad, see letters no. 4786 and 5734). May Hashem grant that this be at a good and fruitful time, with the appropriate haste, in keeping with the importance and the value of the endeavor.
You tell me at the end of your letter that you will describe to me in detail the progress of the construction, and surely you will keep your word. May Hashem grant that the promise of the verse be fulfilled in this matter: "His word shall run swiftly." The project will advance and progress. Moreover, the Mikveh* itself must be beautiful, which is essential. May Hashem grant that we soon merit the fulfillment of the promise: "I will sprinkle upon you pure waters and you shall be purified," through the "Mikveh* of Israel" (note: Hashem Himself), at the true and complete redemption through our righteous Moshiach*.
