Greetings and blessings,

I duly received your letter of 19 Elul and, at an auspicious time, I will mention your name at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit protects us, so that you will know peace of mind and that your brain will direct your heart. Indeed, the Alter Rebbe* specifies that this can be achieved naturally — all the more so since you have no reason to be anxious, as I told you when we met. Indeed, the world is directed by the Holy One, blessed be He, Who is the Essence of good. He bestows upon each person His Providence and leads him toward what is good for him. It is therefore regrettable to waste time discussing all of this in order to determine whether it is indeed so. This is the obvious and indisputable truth, clearly explained by our Torah*, Torah* of life, in general, and by the Chassidus* of the Baal Shem Tov*, of the Alter Rebbe*, of their disciples and the students of their disciples, in particular.

You should find a way to teach Torah* publicly. In these days, it is also important to learn, for example, the laws of the month of Tishrei*, which is approaching. One must be joyful and happy, as we say every day in the prayer: "Therefore, we are obligated to praise... How happy we are, how beautiful is our portion" — especially when one remembers the ideas of Chassidus*, with the clarity that our masters introduced into them. As I was emphasizing, I am not asking you to reflect on all of this, for it is self-evident. It suffices for you to remember, to stop worrying, to be joyful, and to trust the Creator of the world, Who directs it.

On the occasion of the new year, which approaches for us and for all of Israel, for good and for blessing, I hereby send you and all your family my blessing to be inscribed and sealed for a good and sweet year, materially and spiritually.
