Greetings and blessings,

I am responding to your letter of 21 Elul, a month of mercy, in which you communicate the doctor's opinion concerning your state of health. Some are proposing heart surgery. Of course, the decision in this matter depends on the competence of those who make this proposal. In your situation, in particular, based on the information available here, great cardiology specialists regularly visit Eretz Yisrael* from other countries and consult with the local specialists. You will therefore ask the doctor you are consulting to make contact with these specialists, and you will learn what they recommend. May Hashem grant that their advice bring you a prompt recovery.

You mention the search for a good match and ask me whether one should disclose all of this. On this subject, you will consult a Rav who rules on Halachah* near your home. You surely know of the three studies that concern everyone, pertaining to the Chumash*, Tehillim*, and Tanya*. At the very least, you will adopt them in the future.

במענה למכתבו מכ"א אלול חדש הרחמים, בו כותב אודות חוות דעת הרופא בהנוגע לבריאותו שישנם מייעצים נתוח בלב.

והנה מובן שבכלל ההחלטה בזה תלוי' בגודל המומחיות של המייעצים, וביחוד במצבו הנה כפי הידיעות כאן מבקרים באה"ק ת"ו מומחים גדולים ברפואת הלב גם מחו"ל, ואז עושים התייעצות ביחד עם המומחים דאה"ק ת"ו, וכדאי אשר יברר באם ישנה בקרוב אפשרית להתייעצות כזו האמורה, ואז יבקש את הרופא ממכיריו שיתבקר ע"י הנ"ל וידעו הוראתם, ויהי רצון שיצליחו בעצתם לרפואתו קרובה.

במ"ש אודות שידוך ואם צריך לספר המצב הנ"ל וכו', ישאל בזה חוות דעת רב מורה הוראה בישראל בסביבתו.

בודאי יודע משלשת השיעורים השוים לכל נפש בחומש תהלים ותניא ועכ"פ ישמור עליהם מכאן ולהבא.
