Greetings and blessings,
On the eve of the holy day, before going to the holy resting place (note: of the Frierdiker Rebbe*), I received your letter with its contents, and I mentioned your name at this holy resting place, in accordance with the content of your letter.
In this regard, I returned from the holy resting place later than anticipated and did not have time to telephone you. Nevertheless, the very essence of the holy day accomplishes everything that is necessary, and you will consult, on this subject, the responsa Tzafnas Pane'ach* by the Rogatchover Gaon*, volume 1, chapters 101 and 102. These texts deal with the eve of Shabbos*, the awesome day, then with the conclusion of Shabbos* and of Yom Kippur*.
May Hashem grant that all of this be revealed, as Chassidus* explains, during the days of our joy that are approaching — for us and for all of Israel, for the good — that one absorb this revelation, that one integrate its best part, until the promise is soon fulfilled, concerning the kingship, that "they shall all have one king." You will consult the series of Chassidic discourses of Rosh Hashanah* 5708 (note: 1947, by the Frierdiker Rebbe*), which has just been published.

ערב יום הקדוש קודם נסעי על הציון הק' נתקבל המכתב של כת"ר עם המוסגר בו, והזכרתיו על הציון הק' מתאים לתוכן כתבו.
דא"ג מפני ביאתי מהציון הק' מאוחר מהמשוער, לא הי' שהות ביום לתלפון, אבל הרי ענינו של יום הקדוש הוא שעצומו של יום עושה כל הנדרש, ויעוין ג"כ שו"ת צפנת פענח להגאון מרגצוב חלק א' סי' ק"א וק"ב, בענין ערב ש"ק וערב יום הנורא ומוצש"ק ומוצאי יוהכ"פ.
ויהי רצון אשר יומשכו כל הענינים כמבואר בדא"ח בימי שמחתנו הבע"ל ועל כל ישראל לטובה ובאופן דקליטה וקליטת כל השומן עד שיקוים בקרוב היעוד בענין המלוכה ומלך אחד יהי' לכולם. יעוין המשך ר"ה תש"ח היו"ל עתה.
