By the grace of Hashem,

7 Iyar 5710,

To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem,

the Rav C. Z.,[1]

I greet you and bless you.

I have received your letter of 26 Nissan and, in accordance with your request, I read your request for a blessing when I was near the tomb of my father-in-law, the Rebbe. I also mentioned your name in his office, where he used to grant audiences and give blessings.

You are no doubt consulting medical specialists, and the One Who heals all flesh will very soon send you a speedy recovery. And you will diligently put into practice the directives of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, with breadth of spirit.

I await your good news as soon as possible. With greetings to all your community,

I enclose for you a booklet that has just appeared, which you will make available to as many as possible.

I am surprised that you have stopped writing your memoirs.[2] You will surely continue to do so, with even greater enthusiasm.

מכתבו מכ"ו ניסן הגיעני, וכבקשתו קראתי פ"נ בשבילו בהיותי על ציון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ, כן הזכרתיו בהיכלו מקום שם נכנסים ליחידות ולנתינת פדיונות. בטח שואל בעצת רופאים מומחים, והרופא חולי כל בשר ישלח לו רפואה שלימה בקרוב ממש. ויתעסק במרץ במילוי רצונות כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ מתוך הרחבת הדעת.
