Igrot Kodesh · Letter 611 — Faith & Bitachon

Volume 3 · Letter 213 · To: distingué ‘Hassid

By the grace of Hashem,

23 Iyar 5710,

To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem,

the Rav ...

I greet you and bless you.

I have received your letter of 16 Iyar.

You wish to open a business that will require only a limited initial investment and a training of two or three weeks. This is a good initiative. But you must find a trustworthy man, who will tell you whether this investment is justified and how to begin your activity.

No doubt some free time will remain to you. You will therefore be able to continue your activity at the synagogue, which brings you good — spiritual and material at once.

I charge you to give my regards to those who participate in the shiur* you established at the synagogue. You will explain to them that a tzaddik who departs this world is found in all worlds at once, including ours, even more than during his lifetime, as is briefly explained in the introduction to the two booklets you will find enclosed.

I await your good news, and I give you my blessing that your settling in be fruitful,

Rav Menachem Schneerson
