Blessings and greetings,

I am responding to your letter, in which you describe your difficulties in earning a livelihood, which compromises the continuation and completion of your studies. Now, one can observe in the existence of our world that proper preparation for a future establishment is not a waste of time and energy. Quite the contrary, the stronger this preparation and the more it therefore takes all the necessary time, the more favorable and good the establishment will be. Conversely, a reduction of the time or energy appropriate for this preparation will, in the long run, lead to the disappearance of various aspects of your future establishment.

You can deduce my position from what has just been said. You must strengthen yourself, to the fullest extent possible, in order to adopt a profession that suits you, which, it seems, should be in the domain of education and teaching. This is indispensable and you will therefore surely find the means, despite the situation you describe in your letter, to prepare yourself in the proper manner. May Hashem* grant you success. Without a doubt, your friends and, a fortiori, the members of your family, will come to your aid, materially or by other means, so that you may attain this goal. I await your good news.

במענה למכתבה בו כותבת אודות הקישוים שבפרנסת הבית ובמילא משפיע זה על המשך לימודי' ועל גמר שלהם, אף שמתכוננת לעבור בחינות למורה מוסמכת, הרי המשך המצב האמור מפריע גם לזה.

והנה רואים בחיי עולמנו זה, שהכנה מתאימה להסתדרות בעתיד אין זה אבוד של זמן ומרץ, אלא אדרבה ככל שתהי' ההכנה מבוססת יותר ובמילא במשך זמן הדרוש לזה, תהי' ההסתדרות מתאימה וטובה יותר, וקצוץ זמן או מרץ הדרוש לההכנה גורמת לעתיד כמה פרטים וענינים הגורעים בההסתדרות בעתיד.

ומזה מובנת השקפתי, שעלי' להתאמץ ככל האפשרי בכדי שתהי' בעלת מקצוע בשטח המסוגל לה שכנראה זהו שטח החינוך והוראה וכיון שהכרחי הדבר בודאי שימצאו אופנים, שלמרות המצב שמתארת במכתב תוכל להכין את עצמה באופן הדרוש והשי"ת יצליחה, ובודאי שידידי' ועאכו"כ בני המשפחה יסייעו בידה אם בגוף או באופנים אחרים בכדי שתוכל לבוא למטרה האמורה ואחכה לבשו"ט.
