Igrot Kodesh · Letter 620 — Faith & Bitachon
Volume 3 · Letter 224 · To: grand Rav
By the grace of Hashem,
3 Sivan 5710,
To the great Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem,
the Rav B. G.,[1]
I greet you and bless you.
I have received two letters from Rav M. L.[2] of Meknès. He informs me of immense possibilities there for concrete and immediate accomplishments. He thinks you have already settled in Brooklyn. That is why he did not communicate this to you in Paris. He considers that you will read the letters he sent me. I therefore sent you today a telegram, the text of which I enclose.
Consequently, I would like to formulate my request once more. You must make every effort to be present at the inauguration of our activities in North Africa.[3] There is good hope that these will be very fruitful. In this matter, the first step is decisive and must conform to the objective sought. For now, please release funds to him.
I also enclose a telegram and a letter, which arrived from Dublin, addressed to you and forwarded to me.
My father-in-law, the Rebbe, will confer upon each of us the blessing and success, so that we may fulfill our mission as he desires, to magnify and sanctify the Name of Hashem.
By separate post, the booklet edited for the occasion of Shavuos* has been sent to you.
With my blessing on the occasion of Shavuos and hoping for good news,
M. Schneerson
