To the directors of the youth of the Chabad* association, in Montreal, may Hashem* grant you long life,

Shalom* u'vracha*,

I have duly received your letter of 3 Sivan*, with what was enclosed therein. You indicate to me how the idea of the Gan Yisrael* vacation camp is developing. No doubt you will continue your efforts in this direction, with all necessary ardor, in conformity with the importance of such an accomplishment. Our Sages* give the assurance that: "if you make efforts, they will be crowned with success," especially when it involves a project consisting of gathering the children of Israel. Indeed, it is said of each of them: "You are the children of Hashem* your Elokim*." This will take place in the atmosphere of our Torah*, Torah* of life, for several weeks. It is certain that the imprint thereof will remain during the months and years that follow, for the domain of holiness produces fruits and "fruits of fruits."

You will also deduce from what has just been said that all efforts in this direction are justified. Fortunate is the lot of each of those who takes an active part in this accomplishment. I await good news in this matter. You will tell me that the vacation camp is developing, quantitatively and qualitatively, until it reaches a significant size. With my blessing of success in all that concerns the Gan Yisrael* camp, with breadth of spirit, joy, enthusiasm, and to convey good news,

מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבם מג' סיון עם המצורף אליו, בו כותבים אודות התפתחות הענין דמחנה גן ישראל, ובודאי ימשיכו ההשתדלות בזה במרץ הדרוש מתאים לגודל הדבר והבטיחו רז"ל יגעת ומצאת ובפרט בענין כהאמור שהנקודה שבו להכניס ילדי בני ישראל שעל כאו"א מהם נאמר בנים אתם לה' אלקיכם, באוירה של חיים ברוח תורתנו תורת חיים, במשך כו"כ שבועות, אשר ודאי שהשפעתה תהי' ניכרת בחדשים ושנים הבאים לאחרי זה, והרי עניני טוב וקדושה עושים פירות ופירי פירות.

מהאמור מובן ג"כ שכל ידיעה והשתדלות בהאמור כדאיות הן, ואשרי חלקו של כאו"א הלוקח חלק בראש בעבודה האמורה, ואחכה לבשו"ט בכל האמור ואשר המחנה הולך וגדול הן בכמות והן באיכות עד כי גדל מאד.

בברכת הצלחה בכל השייך למחנה גן ישראל מתוך הרחבת הדעת ובשמחה ובטוב לבב ולבשו"ט.
