To the Rav*, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem* and assumes a sacred mission, Rav Yitzchak (note 1: Rav Y. Gansburg, of Tel Aviv. See, on his subject, Letter no. 5884),

Shalom* u'vracha*,

I am responding to your letters of 9 and 13 Sivan*, in which you ask me about the name of the summer camp (note 2: To be organized during the summer in Kfar Chabad*). In the meantime, you have surely received the letter, from here, in which it was proposed that all summer camps, in all countries, bear the same name, "Gan Yisrael*, at the Merkaz L'Inyonei Chinuch*, such-and-such branch."

But, in a general manner, one may ask whether it is necessary to recall, at every step and on every point, the affiliation with Chabad*. Indeed, from various viewpoints, the purpose of all this is to attract the widest possible circles, to exercise an influence on them with pleasant words. Now, such a formulation may frighten many circles. Of course, one cannot know, from here, what the situation of this camp is (note 3: Whether it is exposed to such a risk or not). But, in any case, this element must be taken into account when envisioning the publicity. With my blessing to convey good news of all this and to know success,

במענה למכתביו מט' וי"ג סיון, בם כותב אודות השם לקייטנא ובטח בינתים נתקבל המכתב מכאן בהצעה אשר כל המחנות קיץ בכל המדינות, יקראו בשם משותף, גן ישראל על יד מרכז לעניני חינוך סניף פלוני.

בכלל צ"ע אם להדגיש על כל צעד ושעל ועל כל ענין וענין שזהו משפיץ חב"ד, כיון שבכמה ענינים הכוונה התיכונה להמשיך להן חוג רחב היותר אפשרי ולהשפיע עליו בדברי נועם, ונוסח הנ"ל יכול להפחיד כמה חוגי אנשים, מובן שכאן אין ידוע אם בהנוגע לקייטנא המצב כן הוא, אבל בכל אופן צריך להתבונן גם בנקודה זו בדיון בעניני פרסומות וכו'ו
