To the directors of the Yeshivah* Tomchei Temimim* of Lod, may Hashem* grant you long life,

You ask me about the building project, on the occasion of the cornerstone-laying (note 1: Of the Yeshivah* Tomchei Temimim* of Kfar Chabad*. See, on this subject, Letter no. 6211). Indeed, it is envisioned to add another building, whereas some do not accept this, due to the additional cost that would result.

Such a formulation (note 2: The way in which the question is posed) is not at all comprehensible. Indeed, you are at the beginning of the fundraising and the question of cost will arise only when you have gathered a significant amount. It is then that you will begin and complete a part of the buildings. At that point, you will decide whether it is necessary to add this room. Of course, if the presence of this room facilitates the fundraising, it must be included. With my blessing to convey good news of all this,

ובשאלתם אודות תכנית הבנינים בקשר עם הנחת אבן הפנה, שיש סברא לשתף עוד בנין, ואחרים אינם גורסים זה מצד ההוצאה היתירה.

אינו מובן כלל נוסח זה, שהרי עומדים בהתחלת אסיפת הכספים ושאלת ההוצאה הנ"ל תעמוד על הפרק צ לאחרי שיתאסף סכום נכון ביותר ויתחילו ויגמרו חלק מהבנינים, ואז עליהם להחליט אם לשתף ג"כ אולם וכו'! ומזה מובן שאם ע"י השתוף בתכנית של אולם צ נוחה יותר תהי' אסיפת הכסף וכו' צ יש לעשות זהו
