I am responding to your letter of 1/6 (note 1: 13 Sivan*), in which you describe your origin, your current situation, and that of your children. At a propitious moment, I will mention your names at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit protects us, so that you obtain the satisfaction of your needs.

I read with pleasure, in your letter, that your son is interested in the Chabad* movement. I hope that you yourself are as well, that, for you as for him, this interest is ordered, that is, that it has a concrete effect, in conformity with the teaching of our Sages* according to which "great is the study that leads to action." In fact, everyone is connected to the Chabad* movement and its conclusions, in particular those that apply to daily life. You know, indeed, the saying (note 2: See Letter no. 6274) of the founder of Chassidus* Chabad*, author of the Tanya* and the Shulchan Aruch*, according to which Chassidus* does not address a specific group, but constitutes the heritage of the entire people. And, nothing resists the will.

I hope that you participate in the Chassidic* gatherings that take place on the occasion of the festivals, near your home. Likewise, you have a fixed time for the in-depth study of Chassidus*. Here again, nothing resists the will. No doubt your son will also write here, at the time that suits him. Please convey to him my greetings and, in addition, communicate to him the content of the present letter, which is also addressed to him. I thank you for this. במענה למכתבו מיום /6;1amp&, בו כותב ר"פ מהיחס שלו ומצבו עתה וכן אצל ילידיו שי'.

בעת רצון אזכירם על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע להמצטרך להם.

נעם לי לקרות במכתבו אודות התענינות בנו שי' בתנועת חב"ד, ותקותי שגם הוא הכותב מעונין בזה, ושאצל שניהם ההתענינות היא בסדר, ז.א. מביאה לידי מעשה מתאים להוראת חז"ל גדול תלמוד שמביא לידי מעשה, והרי כאו"א שייכת לו שיטת חב"ד והמסקנות שלה עד להמסקנא בחיי היום יומים, וכידוע פתגם מיסד תורת החסידות חב"ד הוא בעל התניא והשו"ע, שהחסידות היא לא בשביל חוג מסוים אלא שהיא נחלת העם כולו, ואין לך דבר העומד בפני הרצון.

תקותי שמשתתף בהתוועדות אנ"ש הנערכות במועדים ורגלים בסביבתו וכן יש להם קביעות עתים בלימוד בעיון בתורת החסידות, ואין לך דבר העומד בפני הרצון גם בזה.

בטח גם בנו שי' יבוא בכתובים לכאן בזמן המתאים ומטובו לפרוש שלומו בשמי, ובטח ימסור לו גם תוכן הכתוב לעיל, שהרי גם אליו הדברים מופנים. ות"ח.
