To the pleasant and distinguished man, of multiple qualities,

filled with eagerness, of numerous accomplishments,

supporting the tents of the Torah* and of the purest

fear of Hashem*, Rav David (note 1: Rav D. Tordjman, of Rabat), shlita*,

Greetings and blessings,

I receive with pleasure news, through the intermediary of the Chassidim* of Morocco, about the aid and support you bring them in their holy mission — that of educating children in sacred values. I was particularly gratified to receive the letter of the great Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem*, community leader filled with eagerness, of multiple accomplishments, Rav Binyamin Elyahu, shlita*, Gorodetski (note 2: Director of the refugee aid office in Paris and delegate of the Rebbe for Europe and North Africa), relating your meeting, the discussions you had, and the aid you provided to enable the development and expansion of these holy institutions.

There are no words to describe the blessing and the success that these holy institutions bring, not only to the students who pursue their studies there and receive their education, but also to the members of their families and their communities, as our Torah*, Torah* of life, explains. Who will define the immense merit belonging to those who lend their assistance to strengthen and develop these holy institutions? Indeed, He Who gives the Torah* is also He Who creates the world and directs it through His Providence. Every addition to the strengthening of Jewish practice and its dissemination justifies a reward whose interest surpasses the capital, through the blessings that Hashem* grants — children, health, material prosperity — for you and for the members of your family, in a favorable manner.

These days are, indeed, propitious, since this date is that of the liberation of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit protects us. Now, the holy institutions Ohalei Yosef Yitzchak* Lubavitch bear his name. I will therefore mention your name at the resting place of the one whose joy we celebrate. Without a doubt, he will invoke divine mercy so that you achieve success in your sacred mission, as well as in your personal concerns, material and spiritual at once, the ones depending on the others. בנועם הנני מקבל ידיעות מאנ"ש שי' במארוק מהעזר והסיוע שכ' נותן להם בעבודתם בקודש בחינוך על טהרת הקודש. וביחוד שמחתי בקבלי מכתב הרה"ג והרה"ח הוו"ח אי"א נו"מ עסקן נמרץ ורב פעלים וכו' וכו' מוהר"ר בנימין אלי' שליט"א גורודצקי על דבר פגישתם והשיחות שהיו להם והשתדלות כ' לסייע בביסוס התפתחות והתרחבות המוסדות הק'.

אין די באר גודל הברכה וההצלחה שמוסדות ק' אלו מביאים לא רק לתלמידים ולתלמידות הלומדים ומתחנכים בהם, אלא גם לכל משפחתם ולכל בני קהלתם, וכמבואר בתורתנו תורת חיים. ומי ימלל גודל הזכות של כל המשתתפים בהחזקת והרחבת המוסדות הק' האלה, שהרי נותן התורה הוא הוא בורא עולם ומנהיגו בהשגחה פרטית, אשר כל הוספה בהחזקת היהדות והפצתה שכרה בצדה בתוספת מרובה על העיקר בברכות שמים מעל, בבני חיי ומזוני רויחי לו ולבני ביתו שיחיו בטוב.

וכיון שעתה הם ימי סגולה, יום גאולת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע שעל שמו נקראים המוסדות הק' אהלי יוסף יצחק ליובאוויטש, הנה אזכיר את כ' על הציון של בעל השמחה ובטח יעורר רחמים רבים להצלחה בעבודת הקודש וכן בעניניו הפרטיים בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד, אשר הא בהא תליא.
