To the attention of the participants in the Chassidic* gathering of the

propitious days of the liberation of 12 and 13 Tammuz* 5718,

in the holy community of Toronto,

may Hashem* grant you long life,

Greetings and blessings,

I received with pleasure your letter from the eve of Tuesday, when twice was said the word "good" (note 1: During the six days of creation), the 13 Tammuz*, date of the liberation of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, in a concrete manner — that is, when this liberation became effective (note 2: Whereas it was only announced to him on 12 Tammuz*). The importance of the end and the conclusion of a mitzvah* can be deduced from the Yerushalmi*, in the tractate Rosh Hashanah*, at the end of the first chapter, according to which it surpasses even that of Shabbos*. You will consult this text. And one can make the same deduction, in a positive sense (note 3: That is, from a negative statement — namely, from what the attribute of misfortune can accomplish), from the tractate Rosh Hashanah* 18a, for "the Attribute of good is stronger than that..." (note 4: Of misfortune).

When one "commemorates" these days, they are "relived" (note 5: See Letter no. 6393), each year, and it is therefore certain that this Chassidic* gathering, celebrated at a propitious moment, has awakened the blessings and the influences of "those days, at this time." May Hashem* grant that you receive them during the period that comes to us in a positive manner, in the moral and physical domains, in particular regarding the development of the holy institutions bearing the name of the one whose joy we celebrate. All the participants in such gatherings have the certainty of obtaining increased blessing and success, including in their personal concerns and those of the members of their families, may Hashem* grant them long life. בנועם קבלתי המכתב מאור להשלישי יום שהוכפל בו כי טוב י"ג תמוז יום גאולת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר, גם במעשה, ז.א. גמר הענין.

וגודל ענין חותם וגמר מצוה מובן גם ממ"ש בירושלמי ר"ה סוף פרק א', שגדול הוא מענין השבת, יעוין שם.

ומובן ג"כ מערכו בהענין דלמוטב (ר"ה י"ח א) והרי מדה טובה מרובה ממדה וכו'.

וכיון שהימים אלו (כשהם) נזכרים (ה"ה גם) ונעשים מדי שנה בשנה, הרי ודאי שהתועדות בעת רצון זו, עוררה מעין ההשפעות וההמשכות אשר בימים ההם בזמן הזה.

ויהי רצון אשר ימשיכו המשכות והשפעות אלו במשך הימים הבאים לקראתנו לשלום בענינים הרוחנים ובענינים הגשמים, וביחוד בהנוגע להתפתחות המוסדות הק' הנקראים על שם בעל השמחה.

ומובטחים כל המשתתפים בהתועדויות מסוג אלו לתוספת ברכה והצלחה גם בענינים הפרטים שלהם ושל ב"ב שליט"א.
