To the advisory and organizational committee of Kfar Chabad*,
Greetings and blessings,
I have just received your letter of the first day of Rosh Chodesh* Tammuz* and what was enclosed with it — the reports of the meetings that took place during this period. The Mishnah* says: "The action is essential and not the study." May Hashem* therefore grant that the discussions and exchanges among you bring about a true change in all the domains you mention. This change will be evident not only on the occasion of a propitious moment — for example, during a Chassidic* gathering — but also in daily life and in the permitted domains, for therein essentially resides the service of Hashem* of man, as the verse indicates: "In all your ways, know Him." This is self-evident.
Our Sages* have given us the assurance that words emanating from the heart penetrate into the heart. To a great extent, therefore, everything depends on you. May the merit of the founder of your village, who directs it, my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, head of Israel, protect you so that you achieve success in your mission, may he protect all the inhabitants of the Kfar, so that they may be receptacles to integrate the many lights revealed there by the founder, our master and head. With my blessing to convey good news of all this, and may Hashem* grant that it be very soon,

ועדה המייעצת והמארגנת אשר בכפר חב"ד
שלום וברכה! ז"ע נתקבל מכתבם מאדר"ח תמוז והמצורף אליו, הפ"כ מהאסיפות שהתקיימו במשך הזמן.
ויהי רצון אשר, ע"פ דבר המשנה לא המדרש עיקר אלא המעשה, יביאו כל השקו"ט והדו"ד שביניהם לשינוי בפועל בכל הענינים אודותם דנו, ויהי' השינוי ניכר לא רק בעת רצון דעת התועדות וכיו"ב, אלא עד לחיי היום יומים וגם בעניני הרשות.
והרי בזה הוא עיקר עבודת האדם - מיוסד על הכתוב בכל דרכיך דעהו, וק"ל.
וכיון שהבטיחונו רז"ל דברים היוצאים מן הלב נכנסים אל הלב, בודאי אשר במדה גדולה בהם תלוי הדבר. ויהי רצון שזכות מיסד הכפר ומנהלו, הוא כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר נשיא ישראל, תעמוד להם להצליח בעבודה האמורה, ולכל תושבי הכפר להיות כלים לקבלת האורות מרובים הנשפעים בכפר ע"י מיסדו הוא רבנו נשיאנו.
