Greetings and blessings,

I am responding to your letter of 11 Menachem*, hastening to do so. You say that you have not received a response to your previous letter, perhaps because I am not satisfied with your schedule. This is entirely inaccurate and even surprising, given that I have explained to you that the delay in my responses was due to my many occupations. But each person can interpret hints and hints of hints in the most surprising manner.

In general, the expression you employ — "the difficulty of celebrating a marriage" — has no meaning, for these two points contradict each other. A marriage must be joyous and joy breaks limits, leads to true expansiveness, which goes against the notion of difficulty. Likewise, there is no reason to think about the second half of Tishrei*. I have never seen marriages celebrated during that period. At a propitious moment, I will mention your name and those of the members of your family regarding all the points you cite. שלום וברכה! במענה למכתבו מי"א במנחם, ממהר הנני לענות עליו. על פירושו למה שלא קבל עדיין מענה על מכתבו הקודם, שאפשר איני שבע רצון מקביעות הזמן שכותב, אינו נכון כלל [ולפלא, לאחרי שכבר הודעתי שעכוב המענה הוא מפני רוב הטרדות, הרי כל אחד בא לפרש רמזים ורמז רמזים שונים ומשונים]. ובכלל אין מקום כלל ללשונו "בדוחק לסדר חתונה" שהרי זהו שני הפכים, חתונה צ"ל בשמחה ושמחה פורץ גדר עד למרחב העצמי שהרי הוא היפך המוחלט מעניני דוחק. כן מובן שאין מקום על חצי השני של חדש תשרי, שלא ראיתי נוהגים בזה.

בעת רצון אזכירו וב"ב שי' לכל אותן הענינים אודותם כותב ויהי רצון שיבשר טוב בכל הנ"ל וכן בענינים הכללים בטוב הנראה והנגלה ובאופן דמוסיף והולך.
