Greetings and blessings,

I am responding to your letter of 25 Menachem*. At a propitious moment, I will mention your name and those of all the persons you cite at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit protects us.

It would be good to ask the rector of your Yeshivah* and your spiritual guide to explain to you what divine Providence is, according to the conception of the Baal Shem Tov* and the detailed analysis of Chabad* Chassidus*. It applies to every Jew and every Jewess, down to the smallest detail. It is therefore sufficient for a person to forge a receptacle for this Providence. Whatever your past may have been, you can repair the situation in the future and even, little by little, fully transform that past. Everything depends solely on your will. Nevertheless, all that concerns man must be carried out in a gradual manner. If one makes a sincere decision, it is certain that in the end, everything will be repaired.

If you show this letter to your spiritual guide, he will surely explain these concepts to you in the fitting manner. May Hashem* grant that you announce to me good news of all this. With my blessing to study the Torah* with ardor and constancy, in the fear of Hashem*, to be inscribed and sealed for a good year,

בעת רצון יזכירוהו וכן את אלו שכותב אודותם על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"Vה נבג"מ זי"ע כאו"א להמצטרך לו מתאים לתוכן מכתבו.

ומהנכון שיבקש את ראש הישיבה שלו והמשפיע שיסביר לו את הענין דהשגחה פרטית כמבואר מכ"ק אדמו"ר הבעש"ט ובארוכה בתורת חסידות חב"ד, ואיך שזהו על כל אחד ואחת מבני ישראל על פרטיהם ופרטי פרטיהם. שמזה מובן באם רק האדם עושה כלי להשגחה זו, הנה מה שלא יהי' בעבר שלו, בידו לתקן את המצב מכאן ולהבא, ובמשך הזמן גם לתקן את העבר במילואו ואין הדבר תלוי אלא ברצונו, אלא שככל עניני האדם נעשים צעד אחר צעד, כן גם בזה ההטבה באה צעד אחר צעד באם רק מחליטים באמת בזה הרי בטוחים שסו"ס יתוקן הכל.

כשיראה מכתבי זה להמשפיע שלו, בטח שיסבירו הענינים ככל הדרוש, ויהי רצון שבקרוב יבשר בכל האמור.
