You tell me that you have spoken with that person about the images illustrating the Shulchan Aruch*. It would be good for you to obtain the book of Rav David Feldman, may he rest in peace. He is, indeed, the author of an abridgment of the Shulchan Aruch* that is annotated and illustrated, in which there are only a few images, the others appearing in a separate work.

As with everything done by men, these images can certainly be improved, arranged, and multiplied, but after having consulted his books, you will surely learn various points. Perhaps you will even be able to use some of these illustrations. Indeed, it seems to me that this book was published only once, several decades ago, in England. There is therefore no problem of copyright (note 2: The Rebbe says, in English: "copyright") in this matter. With my blessing to convey good news, that you be inscribed and sealed for a good year,

שלום וברכה! ו ובמ"ש אודות התמונות שדבר אתו, תמונות הנוגעות לדיני השו"ע מהראוי שישיג ספרו של הרב דוד פלדמן ע"ה [הוא בעל המחבר קיצור שו"ע מבואר ומצויר אשר שם נמצאים רק קצת ציורים, ויש לו ספר מיוחד לזה], שאף שככל עניני בני האדם, יש לשפרם ואפשר גם לתקנם ולהוסיף עליהם, אבל מובן שלאחרי העיון בספריו בטח ילמדו ממנו כמה ענינים, ואפשר יוכלו גם להשתמש בחלק מציוריו, כי כמדומה נדפס רק פעם אחת לפני עשיריות שנים ובאנגליא, שלכן בטח אין מעכב ענין הקאפירייטו
