Blessings and greetings,

I am responding to your letter of 26/8, in which you describe your state of health and that of your husband. At a propitious moment, your names will be mentioned at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit will protect us, so that your state of health may improve. Of course, every addition on your part to the Torah* and to the Mitzvos* will multiply the blessings of Hashem* for all your needs.

It would be good to have your husband's Tefillin* checked, as well as the Mezuzos* of your house, so that they all be kosher, in conformity with the Halachah*. And you will observe the custom of virtuous Jewish women, which consists of setting aside Tzedakah* before lighting the candles, on the eve of Shabbos* and the holidays.

Regarding you personally, it seems that your pains are the consequence of your thoughts and your worries. If you strengthen your trust in Hashem*, Creator of the world, Who grants His Providence* to each person, it is certain that you will feel better. It would be good for you to know by heart Psalm 23, if necessary in its French translation, according to what will be easiest for you. From time to time, you will recite it and Hashem* will grant you success. With my blessing to convey good news, that you be inscribed and sealed for a good year,

ברכה ושלום! במענה למכתבה מיום 8/, בו כותבת אודות מצב בריאותה ואודות מצב בריאות בעלה שי'.

בעת רצון יזכירום על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע להטבת מצב בריאותם.

ומובן ופשוט שכל הוספה מצדם בעניני תורה ומצות תוסיף בברכות השי"ת בהמצטרך להם.

ומהנכון אשר יבדקו את התפילין של בעלה שי', וכן את המזוזות בדירתם שתהיינה כולן כשרות כדין, והיא תשמור על מנהג בנות ישראל הכשרות להפריש לצדקה קודם הדלקת הנרות בכל ערב שבת וערב יום טוב.

ובהנוגע אלי', כנראה המיחוש שלה הוא קשור במחשבות ודאגות, וכשתתחזק בבטחון בהשם יתברך ויתעלה, שהוא בורא העולם ומשגיח על כל אחד ואחת בהשגחה פרטית, בודאי שיקל מעלי' המיחוש עד שיעבור לגמרי, ומה טוב שתדע את המזמור כ"ג () בספר תהלים בעל פה, ואפשר להיות גם כן בהעתקה בלשון צרפת, איך שנקל יותר בעדה, ומזמן לזמן תחזור עליו, והשי"ת יצליחה.

במזכירות שלי אין כותבים צרפתית, ולכן בא המענה בלשון הקדש, אבל היא יכולה לכתוב גם להבא בצרפתית, כיון שקורא הנני שפה זו.
