Greetings and blessings,

I was already concerned at not having received a letter from you, as is your custom, on the eve of Rosh Chodesh* Kislev*, the month of miracles and of deliverance. But it seems that the explanation for this delay is found in the content of your letter, which I have just received, since you allude in it to your state of health. You inform me of this improvement, and it will therefore continue until you fully recover your health, in every sense of the term. In this regard, you will also consult the Chassidic* discourse of the Alter Rebbe* entitled Maskil L'Eisan, which is printed in the Kuntres Limud HaChassidus.

I thank you for what you say at the end of your letter concerning your dream. In fact, this month, the third from Tishrei*, corresponds to the third from Nissan* (note 2: That of Sivan*, of the giving of the revealed part of the Torah*, thus unifying with its hidden part, revealed in Kislev*). In this way, it unites the revealed part of the Torah* and its hidden dimension. May Hashem* therefore reveal a triple blessing, for all those who belong to the triple people (note 3: Kohen*, Levi*, and Israel), in the three domains of children, health, and material prosperity, all of which shall be satisfied in abundance. Furthermore, we are in a complete year, which possesses a second Adar*, as stated in the Rambam*'s commentary on the Mishnah*, tractate Arachin* 9a (note 4: Which reports the opinion of Rabbi, according to which the complete year mentioned in the Torah* is the solar year of three hundred and sixty-five days), although for the time being I have not found another opinion going in the same direction. With my blessing to convey good news, of a good that is visible and tangible, of all that has just been said,

כבר דאגתי להעדר מכתבו כפי רגילותו בערב ר"ח כסלו הוא חדש הנסים והגאולה, וכנראה שביאור עכוב זה הוא תוכן מכתבו שנתקבל ז"ע בהנוגע למצב בריאותו.

ויהי רצון שכשם שמודיע ע"ד הטבה בזה, הנה ילך המצב הלוך וטוב עד שיחזור לאיתנו בכל המובנים, ועיין ג"כ בד"ה משכיל לאיתן לרבנו הזקן (נדפס בקונטרס לימוד החסידות).

ת"ח במ"ש בסיום מכתבו ע"ד תוכן החלום, ויהי רצון שמחדש זה חדש השלישי מתשרי המכוון לירחא תליתאי מתחיל מחדש ניסן, נגלה דתורה ופנימית התורה, ימשיכו ברכה המשולשת לכל או"א בתוככי עם תליתאי בג' הענינים דבני חיי ומזוני, ואשר בכולם יהי' רוויחי, והרי נמצאים אנו בשנה תמימה שנה ועבורה.
