Greetings and blessings,

I received, in its time, news of your state of health and of the doctors' opinion. Subsequently, I was pleased to learn that your operation was successful and that your condition is improving. May Hashem* grant that this continue and that you have a speedy recovery.

Moreover, we are in Kislev*, the month of miracles and of deliverance, just before the luminous date of 19 Kislev*, the Rosh Hashanah* of Chassidus*. Subsequently, just after that, there will be the festival of Chanukah*, and the Halachah* adopts the opinion of Beis Hillel*, according to which the light (note 1: Of the Chanukah* candles) is ever-increasing, until the last day of the festival — a portion of the deep delight, the revelation of the seven days of the level of Atik Yomin* (note 2: The inner dimension of Keser* — the Crown that surmounts the chain of worlds) which brings to light the Attribute of Royalty, Malchus*. Such, indeed, is the level of Malchus*, as is known, and you will consult, in this regard, the Chassidic* discourse entitled: "Blessed is He Who performed miracles," based on a commentary of the Alter Rebbe*, whose joy we celebrate on 19 Kislev*, as well as on his Chanukah* discourse, in the supplements to the notes of the Tzemach Tzedek*, published in 5711 (note 3: 1951).
