Greetings and blessings,

I am responding to your letter of the 23rd and 26th of Kislev*, briefly describing your sacred activities during recent weeks. You also tell me, in a few words, about the Chassidic* gatherings that took place during this period. May Hashem* grant that the influence of these gatherings be preserved during the days that follow them, since such is their purpose — this is self-evident. At a propitious moment, I will mention all those you cite at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit will protect us, so that each one obtain the fulfillment of their needs, in accordance with what you write me.

You tell me that sometimes, when you address others, you hear words that are not at all desirable. As you know, here is what should be done in such a case: you shall under no pretext engage in discussion. You will merely report what is said in our holy Torah* and whoever wishes to listen to you will do so. As for those who have questions or seek them, you can direct them to the Rabbanim* and the elderly Chassidim*, in the holy city of Jerusalem, may it be restored and rebuilt. They will address themselves to them.

Regarding your letter of 26 Kislev*, you surely received, some time ago already, my letter that was addressed to your father, whom Hashem* will grant long life. With my blessing to convey good news,

במענה למכתבו מכ"ג וכ"ו כסלו, ר"פ מפעולותיו בקדש במשך השבועות שעברו, וכן ר"פ מההתועדויות בזמנים האמורים.

ויהי רצון שיהי' רושם ההתועדויות ניכר בימים שלאחריהם, שהרי זוהי ממטרת ההתועדות, וק"ל.

בעת רצון יזכירו את כל אלה שכותב אודותם על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע כאו"א להמצטרך לו מתאים לתוכן כתבו.

במ"ש אשר לפעמים כשמדברים עם הזולת, שומע דבורים שאינם רצוים כלל וכו'.

ידוע הנוהג בכגון הנ"ל, שאין להכנס בוויכוחים כלל וכלל, כי אם להציע להם המדובר בתוה"ק, והשומע ישמע, ואם יש להשומע קושיות או שמחפש לקושיות, הרי יכול להורות לו כתובת רבני וזקני אנ"ש אשר בירושלים עיה"ק ת"ו ואליהם יפנה.
