Greetings and blessings,

I am responding to your letter of this Sunday, with the request for a blessing, which will be read, at a propitious moment, at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit will protect us. You inform me of your state of health and of your thoughts. It is clear that I am very surprised by this, for it is well known, among the Chassidim* in particular, that the best means and the solution given by our masters is: "If you think that all is well, all will indeed be well." And many stories bring proof that, concretely, this is indeed so.

Moreover, divine Providence has led you to Kfar Chabad*, a town founded and directed by my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, leader of Israel. Now, he invokes a particular divine mercy for all its inhabitants, with all that belongs to them. What has just been said is therefore even more clearly verified, as far as you are concerned. It is unnecessary to say more, so evident is this. I await from you good news on this subject. You will also tell me that you are succeeding in convincing the other inhabitants of Kfar Chabad* to strengthen themselves, in order to widen the channels and the vessels enabling them to absorb the blessing and the immense success that is granted from Above. May Hashem* grant that, always and every day, you announce to me good news, of a visible and tangible good. Awaiting these good news,
