Greetings and blessings,

I am responding to your letter of 3 Shevat* and to the one that preceded it, with the request for a blessing, which will be read, at a propitious moment, at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit will protect us. I read with interest the detailed description you give of your students and of those who receive your influence. No doubt you will not be affected by the difficulties you face in giving them a good education. In the end, indeed, everything depends on the motivation of the student and, of course, on the good will of the teacher.

You will consult the Kuntres UMaayan*, which emphasizes that it was truly said of each person: "If you make efforts," and only in that case, "they will be crowned with success." Thus, everyone, including those who have the greatest aptitudes, must necessarily have recourse to effort. Likewise, everyone, including those who do not have great aptitudes, has the certainty of obtaining a result. Of course, the same is true for a spiritual guide and a teacher. Nevertheless, such a person draws an increased blessing and success by working within the Oholei Yosef Yitzchak* Lubavitch institutions.

My father-in-law, the Rebbe*, leader of Israel, invokes in this regard the great mercy of Hashem*, since these institutions bear his name. The blessing and success granted by Hashem* are thereby increased, including in your material concerns. I have good hope that, despite your work of immense importance within this school, you have fixed a time for the study of the revealed part of the Torah* and for the teaching of Chassidus*. The time devoted to this must be substantial — this is quite evident. With my blessing to convey good news of all this,

N.B.: You are surely aware of the three fixed studies that bear on the Chumash*, the Tehillim*, and the Tanya*, and you observe them.

במענה למכתבו מג' שבט והקודמו עם הפ"נ שיקרא בעת רצון על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע.

בהתענינות קראתי תיאורו המפורט של התלמידים ומושפעים שלו, ובודאי לא יתרשם מהקישוים שפוגש בחינוכם, שהרי סו"ס הכל תלוי ברצון התלמיד ופשיטא ברצון המשפיע, וכמובן גם מקונטרס ומעין, איך שעל כאו"א נאמר יגעת - דוקא, ואז - ומצאת, ז. א. שכל אחד אפילו בעל כשרון הכי נעלה מצווה ביגיעה דוקא, וכ"א ואפילו זה שלא חונן בכשרונות נעלים, גם הוא מובטח שימצא ביגיעתו. ופשיטא שככל זה הוא בהנוגע להמשפיע והמחנך, אלא שתוספת ברכה והצלחה בעבודה במוסדות אהלי יוסף יצחק ליובאוויטש ע"י התעוררות ר"ר של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר נשיא ישראל אשר על שמו נקראים המוסדות וכל הנ"ל מוסיף ברכת השי"ת והצלחתו גם בענינים הפרטים.

תקותי חזקה שלמרות עבודתו הכי נעלית בביה"ס האמור יש לו קביעות עתים בלימוד נגלה דתורה וקביעות בלימוד תורת החסידות, וקביעות מספקת, וק"ל.
