Greetings and blessings,

I have duly received your letter of this Wednesday, with the translation that was enclosed with it. I also received the preceding letter and translation. You will kindly excuse me for not having confirmed this to you until now. Indeed, I was thinking of rereading this translation, at least quickly, but, for the time being, I have not yet had the possibility. It seems therefore that this will have to wait. I was satisfied by the discourses you report to me and by their content, in particular by the fact that these discourses are linked to concrete action, to the practical application of the Mitzvos*. Perhaps it would be good to write down, even briefly, your discourses, so that they can be used in other places. Certainly, one cannot compare someone who delivers his own discourse with someone who repeats the main points of what was said by someone else. But, as a well-known story shows, each person can indeed make a personal addition to it. This is self-evident.

I send you my blessing for success in your holy mission, which consists of drawing close the hearts of the sons and daughters of Israel, through an education based on sacred values. Hashem* will grant you a double reward, in His way, since He acts "measure for measure" (note 2: In the manner in which one acts toward Him), but in greatly increased proportion. With your wife, the Rebbetzin*, you will educate your children to the Torah*, to the marriage canopy, and to good deeds. With my blessing to convey good news and to have a joyous Purim*,

שלום וברכה!

מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבו מיום ד' והעתקה המצורפת אליו וכן נתקבל המכ' והעתקה הקודמת, ואתו הסליחה שלא נתאשר עד כה, כיון שקויתי לעבור על ההעתקה עכ"פ בחפזי, אבל לע"ע לא עלתה בידי, וכנראה עוד חזון למועד.

נהניתי מהנאומים אשר כותב אודותם ומתוכנם והעיקר שממשיך (ציהט צו) את הנאום לענין של מעשה בפועל ומצות מעשיות, ואפשר הי' מקום שירשום ראשי פרקים מנאומיו למען יוכלו להשתמש בזה גם במקומות אחרים, ואף שאינו דומה המדבר מעצמו להחוזר על נאום ראשי פרקים ששמע מאחר, אבל ידוע הסיפור, שנשאר עוד מקום לכאו"א להוספה מדילי', וק"ל.

בברכת הצלחה בעבודתו בקדש קירוב לבן של בני ובנות ישראל על ידי חינוך על טהרת הקדש ושכרו כפול מן השמים ובמדתו של הקב"ה שהיא מדה כנגד מדה אלא שכמה פעמים ככה, שביחד עם זוגתו הרבנית יגדלו את ילידיהם - שיחיו - לתורה ולחופה ולמעשים טובים.
