To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem, Rav* Daniel (note 1: Rav* D. Haskind, of Tel Aviv. See, concerning him, letter no. 6258),

I greet you and bless you,

After a particularly long interruption, I received your letter of 7 Adar Sheni*, the birthday of Moshe, shepherd of all Yisrael*. You ask me why the response to a certain person was delayed, and in the meantime it has surely reached him. In general, for all the matters you cite and for support of the institutions, one must address the Chabad* association and the youth of the Chabad* association in the Holy Land. The reasons are self-evident. At a propitious moment, I will mention all those you cite at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit protects us, so that each may obtain the satisfaction of his needs, in accordance with what you write to me. It is you who transmit this request to me, and may Hashem therefore grant that you give me good tidings of it. Naturally, you will also communicate tidings concerning yourself personally, which will be material and spiritual at once.

You ask me how to organize your study. I heard my father-in-law, the Rebbe, say that in a case like yours, it is appropriate to establish a fixed study of the Mishnah*, in addition to all other studies. To someone like you, it is surely unnecessary to explain at length that you must learn Chassidus* every day and disseminate this study in every place where you exercise your influence.

I was particularly interested by the information that near you is the son of Rav* Yerushalimski of Kaminka (note 2: See, concerning him, Yagdil Torah*, published in New York, issue 63, chapters 31 and 32, as well as the Igros Kodesh* of the Rebbe Rashab*, vol. 4, letters nos. 955 and 1000), the Rav* of the city of Kielce, and he possesses manuscripts of all our masters. I would like to have more details on this subject. Likewise, does he also possess their notes and their memoirs? Indeed, his father was a descendant of the Alter Rebbe*. I ask you to verify all this as quickly as possible and to let me know. I thank you very much for taking the trouble. With my blessing to give good tidings and for a joyous Purim*,

לאחרי הפסק הכי ארוך נתקבל מכתבו מז' אדר שני יום בו נולד משה רוען של כל ישראל,

שואל על עכוב המענה לפלוני וכו', ובטח כבר נתקבל בינתים, ובכלל בענינים כגון אלו שכותב, תמיכת מוסדות וכו' יש לפנות לאגודת חב"ד ולצעירי אגודת חב"ד אשר באה"ק ת"ו ומטעמים מובנים.

בעת רצון יזכירו את כל אלה שכותב אודותם על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע כאו"א להמצטרך לו מתאים לתוכן כתבו,

ויהי רצון שמאחר שהוא המביא הבקשה, הנה יבשר טוב בזה,

ומובן וגם פשוט, שיבשר טוב גם בהנוגע לעצמו בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד.

ובמ"ש אודות הנהגה בלימוד, שמעתי מכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר שבכגון דילי' צריך להיות לימוד קבוע במשניות נוסף על שאר הלימודים, ובודאי למותר להאריך לדכוותי' שצריך להיות לימוד בתורת החסידות בכל יום וכן להפצת לימוד זה בכל מקום שידו מגעת.

ענין אותי ביותר מה שכותב אשר בסביבתו נמצא בן הרב ירושלימסקי מעיר קאמינקא רב דעיר קיעלץ, ושבידו גוף כתי"ק של הנשיאים וכו'. ואתענין לדעת יותר פרטים בזה, וכן האם יש אצלו ג"כ מרשימות וזכרונות מהנ"ל, שהרי אביו הי' גם מגזע אדה"ז, ובקשתי לברר את האמור בהקדם ולהודיעני, ות"ח ת"ח על כל הטרחה בזה.
