By the grace of Hashem,

Motzaei Shabbos* of Parshas* (note 1: Parshas HaChodesh*):

"This month is for you" 5719,

To each and every one of the inhabitants of Kfar Chabad*,

founded and directed by my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose

merit protects us, may Hashem grant you long life,

I greet you without limit and bless you,

On the occasion of the festival of Matzos*, the time of our freedom, which is approaching for us and for all of Yisrael* for the good, I hereby send my blessing to each and every one of you for a kosher and joyous festival — the time of our freedom, a true freedom. You will reveal this freedom and this joy in all domains, personal and communal, throughout this year, which is a Shabbos* for Hashem (note 2: The year of Shemittah*). And you will cause the harmful beings to disappear (note 3: Yalkut*, Bechukosai*, paragraph 672), just as one removes the chametz* (note 4: See the lengthy explanation in the Reshimos* of the Tzemach Tzedek* concerning the verse: "A psalm, a song for the day of Shabbos*," chapter 12, found in the addenda of the commentary on Tehillim*). Thus you will know peace and tranquility, pleasure and rest — the revelation of heavenly pleasure.

Very soon and truly in our days, we will merit the fulfillment of the words and promise of our Sages* (note 5: Midrash* Shemos Rabbah*, chapter 15, paragraph 1) that: "'This month (note 6: Nissan*) is for you... the people whose Elokim* is Hashem... it is then (note 6) that Yisrael* left Mitzrayim* and then that they will be redeemed," in the true and complete redemption, when there will rise before them "the one who breaks through barriers" (note 7: Michah* 2:13), our righteous Moshiach*, the king who will lead them out of Mitzrayim* and the limitations, who will lead them "to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south." With my blessing for a kosher and joyous Pesach*, in true breadth, and for a summer of good health and joy,

I have sent Matzah Shemurah* and have asked that the general council of Kfar Chabad*, its spiritual committee, headed by the great Rav*, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem, Rav* Sh. Z. (note 8: Rav* Shneur Zalman Garelik, Rav* of Kfar Chabad*), "master of the place," distribute it to the inhabitants of the Kfar* and to the several Chabad* communal leaders in the Holy Land, may Hashem grant them long life. May Hashem grant that it have its effect — that it be "the food of faith*" and "the food of healing*" in the fullest sense of the term.

ואשר ימשיכו מחירות ושמחה זו בכל עניניהם, הפרטים והכללים, בימי כל השנה כולה - שנת שבתון שבת לה',

ובמהרה בימינו ממש, נזכה לקיום דברי רז"ל ויעודם: החדש הזה לכם... הגוי אשר ה' אלקיו... בו נגאלו ישראל ממצרים ובו עתידין ליגאל, בגאולה האמתית והשלי מה על ידי

עלית הפורץ - משיח צדקנו - לפניהם, מלכם מוציאם ממצרים וגבולים, פורץ ימה וקדמה וצפונה ונגבה.

בברכת חג הפסח כשר ושמח מתוך הרחבה אמתית ולקיץ בריא ושמח.

שלחתי מצה שמורה, ובקשתי אשר ועד הכללי של כפר חב"ד וועד הרוחני - והרה"ג הרה"ח הוו"ח אי"א נו"מ כו' הרש"ז שי' מרא דאתרא בראשם - יחלקון לתושבי כפר חב"ד וליחידי עסקני חב"ד אשר באה"ק ת"ו - שליט"א.

ויהי רצון שתפעל פעולתה, פעולת מיכלא דמהימנותא ומיכלא דאסותא במילואה.
