I greet you and bless you,

I received your letter from erev* Shabbos*, requesting a blessing. At a propitious moment, it will be read at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit protects us. Of course, every addition to the practice of the Torah* and the mitzvos* multiplies the blessings of Hashem in each of the needs of a person and the members of his family. And however good a situation may be, an addition always remains possible in everything pertaining to good and holiness.

You tell me that since you purchased your pharmacy, you have the impression that unusual events are happening to you. It is necessary to verify whether this purchase has not resulted in a situation of unfair competition. If there is any doubt in this matter — since no one can be objective regarding what concerns him — you should consult a Rav* who rules on Halachah*, who will tell you the opinion of the Torah* on this matter. And Hashem, Who grants His Providence to each person, will lead you on the path that is straight before Him, both materially and spiritually.

It would be good to have your tefillin* checked, as well as the mezuzos* of your home, to ensure that they are all kosher in accordance with the Halachah*. And your wife should maintain the positive custom of virtuous Jewish women, which consists of setting aside tzedakah* before lighting the candles, every erev* Shabbos* and festival. בעת רצון יקרא על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע.

ומובן שכל הוספה בעניני תורה ומצות [וככל שיהי' המצב טוב בזה, הרי בעניני טוב וקדושה תמיד יש מקום להוסיף עוד], מביאה הוספה בברכות השי"ת בהמצטרך לאדם ולביתו.

במ"ש שנדמה להם שמעת קנו בית המרקחת, פוקדים אותם מאורעות שלא על דרך הרגיל.

יש לברר אם לא הי' בקני' זו ענין דהשגת גבול וכיו"ב ואם ספק בדבר, והלא אדם קרוב אצל עצמו, מובן שיש לברר אצל רב מורה הוראה דעת תורה בזה.

והשי"ת המשגיח על כאו"א בהשגחה פרטית, ינחם בטוב לפניהם בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד.

מהנכון אשר יבדקו את התפילין שלו וכן את המזוזות בדירתם שתהיינה כולן כשרות כדין, והיא תשמור על מנהגן הטוב של בנות ישראל הכשרות להפריש לצדקה קודם הדלקת הנרות בכל ערב שבת וערב יום טוב.
