I greet you and bless you,

I received your letter of 27 Nissan*. May Hashem grant that the parents educate each of their children — your grandchildren — to Torah*, to the chuppah*, and to good deeds, in abundance. You yourself and your wife will derive from them much true satisfaction — Jewish satisfaction — in joy and enthusiasm.

You tell me about the difficulties of the Chabad* synagogue in which you pray. Because of this, you have not gone there recently. Then you returned, but you observe that the problems persist. In any case, even if all your arguments are justified, including those you do not write to me, leaving a Chabad* synagogue is not the solution. Diminishing the number of people who pray there will not improve anything. On the contrary, if one thinks that certain points must be rectified, one should not diminish but rather increase that number. In this way, the difficulties will lessen and it will be easier to strengthen the spirituality and holiness of this holy place. It is surely unnecessary to say more, and may Hashem grant that you give me good tidings as well.

You have seen the goodness of Hashem in the past, especially in comparison with the situation of this winter. The same is true for your son and for the members of your family who are here, as well as in all other domains. And you will continue to praise the Creator of the world, Who directs it. Your thanksgiving offering will be the development of spirituality and holiness in every place you can reach, and even more so in the place where you have been praying for some time already. For nothing can withstand the will. In anticipation of your good tidings in all this,

הריני מאשר קבלת מכתבו מכ״ז ניסן ,ויעזור השי״ת ויגדלו ההורים

כל אחד מבניהם ,נכדיו ,שיחיו לתורה ולחופה ולמעשים טובים מתוך

הרחבה ,והוא וזוגתו תחי׳ ירוו מהם רוב נחת אמיתי הוא נחת יהודי

חסידותי מתוך שמחה וטוב לבב.

במ״ש ע״ד הקישוים בבית הכנסת חב״ד שמתפלל שמה ,ולכן משך

זמן לא התפלל במקום ואח״כ חזר וגם עתה הקישוים וכוי.

בכל אופן ,גם אם נניח שכל הטענות צודקות ,גם אלו שאינו כותב,

העצה אינה לעזוב את בית הכנסת חב״ד ,נשכן[ בזה שיש פחות מתפללים

לא נוסף בתקון של בית הכנסת ,אלא אדרבה ,אם סבורים שישנם ענינים

שנחוץ לתקן ,דרוש לא רק שלא יהיו פחות מתפללים ,אלא למשוך עוד

מתפללים שאז ההפרעות פוחתות עוד ועוד ,ו]נעשה[ קל יותר להגביר את

הרוחניות והקדושה במקום קדוש זה .ובודאי האריכות בזה אך למותר,

ויהי רצון שגם בזה יבשר טוב.

וכאשר ראה חסדי השי״ת בעבר ובפרט בהשוואת המצב בחורף וכן

בבנו וב״ב שי׳ הנמצאים פה ובשאר הענינים ,בטח יוסיף לברך בהודאה

לבורא עולם ומנהיגו ,שקרבנו תודה הוא להגדיל רוחניות וקדושה בכל

מקום שיכול להגיע ועאכו״כ במקום שמתפלל זמן חשוב ,ואין לך דבר

העומד בפני הרצון.
