a sacred mission, of many accomplishments,

I greet you and bless you,

I learned some time ago that your father, to whom Hashem will grant long life, distinguishes himself by his excellent style in Italian. Perhaps it is possible that he devote part of his time to writing articles — easy to understand and to read — dealing with the actual practice of the mitzvos* and the traditional way of life in daily existence. These would be addressed to the youth who speak Italian and would be close to their frame of mind.

I emphasize their necessary simplicity, for the two books by your father that I possess here — including from the insufficient knowledge I have of this language, of which I am clearly in no way an expert — are of a much higher level, both in the knowledge of the language and in the knowledge they require (note 2: In order to understand their content).

... שמעתי לא מכבר אשר אביו שליט"א מצטיין בסגנונו האטלקית. ואולי יש מקום שיקדיש מזמנו לכתיבת מאמרים קלי ההבנה (וקלי הסגנון) בהנוגע לקיום מצות מעשיות בפועל דוקא ולאורח חיים מסורתי בחיי היום יום - בשביל הנוער והצעירים דוברי איטלקית ומתאים לתכונות נפשם.

הדגשתי ע"ד קלות כו' כנ"ל - כי ב' הספרים מאביו שישנם אצלי - לפי ידיעתי בשפה זו (שאינה מספיקה ופשיטא שאיני מומחה בה כלל) - מתאימים לרמה גבוהה הרבה יותר - הן בידיעת השפה והן בידיעות בכלל.
