I am responding to your letter of 8 Sivan*, in which you tell me that a match is being proposed to you — a young woman who fears Hashem. But you specify that there is an age difference between you. In this case, this is of no importance. You say that you feel no emotion. You should evaluate the difference between the first time you met and your feeling after several meetings. Do you feel closer? If so, there is reason to think that there will be a positive development.

Hashem grants His Providence* to each one. He will therefore guide you toward what is good for you, both materially and spiritually. With my blessing to give good tidings,

ובמ"ש שאין לו הרגש וכו', עליו לבחון השינוי שחל בין פעם הראשונה שנפגשו ולאחר כמה פעמים שנפגשו, ובאם חלה הזזה לקירוב, הרי זה נותן מקום לומר, שיגדל השינוי הלוך וטוב.
