To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself

to communal needs, Rav* Baruch (note 1: Rav* B. Litvin, of Mt. Clemens. See, concerning him, letter no. 6764),

I greet you and bless you,

I received your letter from this Wednesday, to which was appended the decision of the supreme court, signifying your victory (note 2: In the court case to place a mechitzah* in the synagogue separating men from women. See, on this subject, letter no. 5521). May Hashem grant that one go from one victory to another, that one rise higher and higher, in the domains of the Torah*, the mitzvos*, and authentic Yiddishkeit* — not the diluted and adulterated kind, but the Yiddishkeit* that was given to Moshe* on Mount Sinai. It is precisely by engaging on this path, the path of the One Who gives the Torah* and commands the mitzvos*, that with the help of Hashem, one ultimately succeeds in strengthening and developing Yiddishkeit*.

Of course, the more one strengthens one's trust in Hashem, acting with enthusiasm and warmth — Chassidic* warmth and self-sacrifice — the more one grows and hastens the fulfillment of the promise that "truth will sprout from the earth" and "Hashem is with us — do not fear them." Indeed, "Hashem will fight for you." With my respects, my blessing to give good tidings and, according to the saying of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, to have a healthy summer, physically and morally,
