By the grace of Hashem,

16 Sivan* 5719,

I greet you and bless you,

I received your letter of 11 Sivan*, requesting a blessing for this young boy. At a propitious moment, I will mention his name at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit protects us, so that he obtain the satisfaction of his needs, in accordance with what you write.

From the way you describe his situation, one may think that if he were entrusted with an activity that he could lead, in which he would guide others — for example, Shabbos* afternoon recreational programs for young boys a few years younger than he — he would gain assurance and firmness. Indeed, he would observe his success, see that he is listened to and followed. One may think that, thanks to this development, several disturbances would disappear on their own. There are surely several possibilities, several ways to organize a group for this activity and to attract him so that he agrees to lead it. By acting through natural means, one fashions a vessel to receive the blessings of Hashem in a supernatural manner.

You will surely find the appropriate words to explain to his parents that every addition to the practice of the Torah* and the mitzvos* is also an addition to the blessings that Hashem grants in all that is fitting for a person and his family. With my blessing to give good tidings,

מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבו מי"א סיון, בקשת ברכה פ"נ עבור הנער... שי'.

בעת רצון אזכירו על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע להמצטרך לו מתאים לתוכן כתבו.

וכפי שמתאר מצבו במכתבו, יש מקום לומר, שאם היו מעסיקים את הנער בענין שיכול להיות מנהיג משפיע וכיו"ב (בדוגמת מסיבות שבת של ילדים קטנים ממנו באיזה שנים וכיו"ב) הי' זה מוסיף בבטחה שלו וביציבות שלו, כיון שהי' רואה שמצליח וישנם כאלה הנשמעים לקולו והדרכתו, וע"י הזזה זו, יש מקום לומר, שכמה מהפרעות היו בטלים מעצמן. ובודאי כמה אופנים ודרכים ישנם לסדר קבוצה כהאמור וכיו"ב ולהמשיכו (אריינציהען עם) שירצה להנהגה, וכשעושים בדרך הטבע ה"ז כלי לקבלת ברכות השם יתברך גם למעלה מדרך הטבע.

ובודאי ימצא אותיות מסבירות מתאימות, להסבירם (ההורים שי') שכל הוספה בעניני תורה ומצות מביאה הוספה בברכות השי"ת בהמצטרך לאדם ולביתו.
