I greet you and bless you,

After a particularly long interruption, I received your letter from Pesach* Sheni*, which is intermediate between the first Pesach* and the time of the giving of our Torah*, on the path to the true deliverance. Indeed, on the first Pesach*, chametz* is forbidden even in the most minute quantity. On Shavuos*, by contrast, the two loaves are kneaded to be chametz* — which is an obligation of the Torah*. On Pesach* Sheni*, one has at home both chametz* and matzah*. The matzah* is an obligation, while the chametz* is permitted. It is therefore indeed the intermediate between the two (note 2: Pesach* Sheni* is the intermediate between the first Pesach* and Shavuos*), as the holy Zohar* also indicates, volume 2, page 183b.

In this letter, you mention the setting of the wedding of your son, to whom Hashem will grant long life, during the coming summer. Whatever the precise date you choose, may Hashem grant that it proceed well, that it be at a good and fruitful moment, in every respect. With my blessing to give good tidings, always and every day,

לאחרי השתיקה הכי ארוכה נתקבל מכתבו מפסח שני,

שהוא ממוצע בין פסח ראשון וזמן מתן תורתנו במהלך הגאולה האמיתית, כי בפסח ראשון חמץ אסור ועד למשהו, בחג השבועות שתי הלחם חמץ תאפינה, מצוה מן התורה, ופסח שני חמץ ומצה עמו בבית, מצה חובה, חמץ רשות, ממוצע בין שני הענינים, כמובן ג"כ מזוה"ק חלק ב' קפ"ג ע"ב.

בו כותב אודות קביעות זמן נשואי בנם שליט"א בזה הקיץ הבע"ל.[

ויהי רצון שאיך שיקבעו הזמן בדיוק, יעלה ליפה ויהי' בשעה טובה ומוצלחת בכל הפרטים...
