Igrot Kodesh · Letter 6907 — Prayer

By the grace of Hashem,

26 Sivan* 5719,

I greet you and bless you,

I am responding to your letter from this Sunday, in which you briefly describe your life to me. You tell me that for several months you have been entirely alone. You have therefore thought that it would be good to join a Yeshivah*, outside of Eretz Yisrael*. If you wish to listen to me, remove this solitude entirely from your mind and do not think of leaving the Holy Land, may it be restored and rebuilt by our righteous Moshiach*, very soon and in our days, Amen. On the contrary, do everything in your power to join a religious kibbutz*, for example. I mean that you must simultaneously earn your livelihood and find yourself in a religious atmosphere. Gradually, you will regain peace of mind and you will prepare for yourself a pleasant life. Indeed, the Creator of the world grants His Providence* to each person and, with time, you will be able to examine the possibility of building a Jewish home, if matters are as you write, or else... Indeed, your current situation is not very clear.

May Hashem grant that you entirely lose your bitterness. If you conduct a search, you will realize that many people have experienced events comparable to those you describe. Despite this, they hold firm and even, shortly afterward, they settle into life and come to the aid of others, of those who are weakened. In fact, there is no greater satisfaction than this. May Hashem grant that it be so for you, sooner than you imagine. I have good hope that in the future you will conform to the teachings of our Torah*, Torah* of life, in your daily existence. This is, indeed, the channel and the vessel for receiving the blessings of Hashem, in an ever-increasing manner. It would be good to have your Tefillin* checked, to ensure that they are in conformity with the Halachah*. Likewise, each weekday, before the morning prayer, you should give a few cents to tzedakah*. במענה למכתבו מיום א', בו כותב ר"פ מאשר עבר עליו ואשר זה כמה חדשים שחי בבדידות מוחלטת, ולכן עלה בדעתו שכדאי להתקבל בישיבה בחו"ל וכו'.

ואם לקולי ישמע, יסיח דעתו לגמרי מלהיות בבדידות וכן מלעזוב אה"ק ת"ו ע"י משיח צדקנו בב"א, כי אם יעשה כל מה שביכולתו להשתלב בקבוץ דתי וכיו"ב, כוונתי לשלב ענין של פרנסה עם אוירה דתית דוקא. ולאט לאט יחזור למנוחת נפשו ולהכנה בחיים טובים שהרי בורא עולם משגיח על כאו"א בהשגחה פרטית, ובמשך הזמן יתברר ג"כ בהנוגע לבנין בית בישראל, אם הענין אודותו כותב או וכו' כיון שאינו ברור כ"כ במכתבו מצבו עתה.

ויהי רצון שישכח על המרירות שלו לגמרי, וכשיחקור יראה שאצל כו"כ ישנם מאורעות מעין אלו שכותב אודותם, ובכל זה מחזקים מעמד ולא עוד אלא שבמשך זמן לא ארוך מתבססים בחיים ועוזרים גם לאחרים נחשלים, ואין לך סיפוק גדול יותר בכגון זה, והשם יתברך יצליחו שיהי' כל זה בהקדם ממה שמשער.

תקותי חזקה שמכאן ולהבא חי על פי הוראות תורתנו תורת חיים בחיי היום יומים, והרי זהו הצנור והכלי לקבלת ברכות השי"ת באופן דמוסיף והולך.

מהנכון אשר יבדקו את התפילין שלו שתהיינה כשרות כדין וכן אשר בכל יום חול קודם תפלת הבקר יפריש פרוטות אחדות לצדקה.
