By the grace of Hashem,

Eve of Rosh Chodesh* Tammuz* 5719,

month of the liberation of my father-in-law,

the Rebbe, Brooklyn,

To the sons and daughters of Yisrael who are in Gan Yisrael*,

at their head, to the counselors, male and female, to the directors and

to all those in charge, may Hashem grant you long life,

I greet you and bless you,

May the opening of the Gan Yisrael* vacation camp and your arrival at this place be at a good and fruitful time. You will reveal success and blessing in all domains, material and spiritual, of Gan Yisrael*. And this Gan Yisrael* will be in accordance with its name — it will raise beautiful trees bearing good fruit. Thus will be fulfilled in you the verse: "Let my Beloved come" — the Holy One, blessed be He — "into His garden" — the place of His delight (note 1: The Rebbe notes at the bottom of the page: "According to Midrash Rabbah* on this reference, as expounded in the series of Chassidic* discourses entitled 'I have come into My garden,' of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, of 5710"), His dwelling place, through the study and practice of our Torah* and its mitzvos*, illuminated by the Chassidic* light and vitality.

In this year, which is a Shabbos* for Hashem (note 2: That of the Shemittah*), you will reveal in all that concerns you rest and satisfaction (note 3: The Rebbe notes at the bottom of the page: "See the Reshimos on Tehillim* of the Tzemach Tzedek*, page 92a and in the addenda"), the "Shabbos* of Shabbos*" (note 4: According to the expression used by the Torah* regarding the Shemittah*), a true delight, materially and spiritually at once. ויקוים בהם הכתוב יבוא דודי (זה הקב"ה) לגנו-לגנוני*, דירתו ית',

על ידי לימוד וקיום תורתנו ומצותי' מוארים באור וחיות חסידותיים.

ובשנה זו אשר שבת היא להוי', ימשיכו בכל עניניהם שובה** ונחת, שבת שבתון, עונג האמתי, בגשם וברוח גם יחד.
