By the grace of Hashem,

28 Tammuz* 5719,

To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem,

Rav* Mordechai HaKohen,

I greet you and bless you,

I have duly received your letter of 23 Tammuz*. At a propitious moment, I will once again mention your name at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit protects us, in accordance with what you write to me.

You had the merit of taking part in the actions of the highest importance that were carried out to rescue my father-in-law, the Rebbe, "in those days, at this time" (note 1: During the liberation of 12 and 13 Tammuz). May Hashem grant that this protect you in all your needs, spiritual and material. Of course, this protection includes, first and foremost, good health, material expansiveness, and more generally, good tidings of a visible and tangible good.

To pass from your personal concerns to communal accomplishments, may Hashem grant that this period (note 2: Between 17 Tammuz and 9 Av) be soon transformed into joy and gladness and that we merit witnessing the fulfillment of the promise according to which we will receive an inheritance without limit. בעת רצון יזכירוהו עוד הפעם על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע לתוכן כתבו.

וכיון שזכה כ' להשתתף בהפעולות הכי נשגבות להצלת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר בימים ההם בזמן הזה, יהי רצון שיעמוד לו זה בכל המצטרך לו מרוח ועד בשר ובזה כמובן לכל לראש ולראשונה בריאות הנכונה הרחבת הפרנסה ולבשו"ט בטוב הנראה והנגלה בכלל.

ומענינים הפרטים לענינים הכללים אשר ימי בין המצרים אלו יהפכו בקרוב לששון ולשמחה ונזכה לקיום היעוד לנחלה בלי מצרים.
