By the grace of Hashem,

To my close relative, the great Rav*, distinguished Chassid* who

fears Hashem and devotes himself to communal needs,

Rav* Gershon (note 1: Rav* M. Chen, of Chaifa. See, concerning him, letter no. 6412) and his wife, the Rebbetzin* Gessya,

I greet you and bless you,

After a long interruption, I have duly received your letter from the eve of Shabbos*, in which you describe in an extremely concise manner the Chassidic* farbrengen* of 12 and 13 Tammuz*. May its effect be prolonged during the days and months that follow. At a propitious moment, I will mention your names at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit protects us, so that you obtain the satisfaction of your needs, in accordance with what you write to me.

We are at the conclusion of the month of the deliverance (note 2: Tammuz) of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, leader of Yisrael. His merit will therefore strengthen success in all the communal and personal concerns of each of us, within all of Yisrael, in joy and enthusiasm. With my blessing to give good tidings of all this,

N.B.: You cite the Shaar HaYichud VeHaEmunah*, which says: "You give life to them all — do not read 'give life to' but 'bring into existence.'" It seems to me that I have already written to you some time ago that this statement of our Sages* appears in the Reishis Chochmah*, Gate of Holiness, at the end of chapter 7, as well as in the Pardes*, Gate 6, chapter 8, and in the Shnei Luchos HaBris*, page 48b.

בעת רצון יזכירום על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע להמצטרך להם מתאים לתוכן כתבו.

ובהמצאנו בסיום וחותם חדש הגאולה של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר נשיא ישראל, זכותו ירבה ההצלחה בכל ענינים הכללים והפרטים של כאו"א מאתנו בתכ"י ומתוך שמחה וטוב לבב.
