To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and

assumes a sacred mission, Rav* Yitzchak (note 1: Rav* Y. Gansburg, of Tel Aviv. See, concerning him, letter no. 6317),

I greet you and bless you,

After a long interruption, I have duly received your letter from the first day of Rosh Chodesh* Elul*, the month of compassion, in which you inform me of the preparations for the new school year. I await good tidings from you of its effective beginning, which will be in the manner of Ufaratzta* (note 2: "And you shall spread forth to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south," according to the saying chosen by the Rebbe for this year. See, on this subject, letter no. 6541). In accordance with the teaching of our masters (note 3: See, on this subject, letter no. 6011), up to my father-in-law, the Rebbe, who was very close, in various domains, including in his physical appearance, to the Rebbe Maharash*, author of the following saying: "People generally think that if one cannot pass under an obstacle, one must pass over it. I, for my part, consider that one must from the outset pass over it."

This will be so throughout the year, in this school, with all that concerns it, within the network (note 4: Of the Ohalei Yosef Yitzchak* Lubavitch schools in the Holy Land) and all the Chabad* institutions in our Holy Land. Without a doubt, this will forge an additional channel and receptacles for experiencing success in your communal accomplishments and in your personal concerns. And your wife will surely write to me about her own activities, her communal and personal achievements, precisely with joy and enthusiasm, in good health. With my blessing to give good tidings, to be inscribed and sealed for a good year,

לאחרי הפסק הכי ארוך נתקבל מכתבו מאדר"ח אלול הוא חדש הרחמים, בו כותב מההכנות להתחלת זמן הלימודים ואצפה שיבשר טוב מההתחלה בפועל, ובאופן שגם ההתחלה תהי' באופן דופרצת וגו', וכידוע הוראת רבותינו נשיאינו ועד לכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר (שבכמה פרטים ועד לקלסתר פנים הי' בדוגמת אדמו"ר מוהר"ש בעל הפתגם): די וועלט זאגט אז מען קען ניט ארונטער דארפמען אריבער, און איך זאג אז מ'דארף לכתחלה אריבער, ויהי' באופן כזה במשך כל השנה בעניני בית הספר וכל השייך לו בתוככי כללות עניני הרשת וכללות עניני חב"ד אשר באה"ק ת"ו, ובודאי שיהי' זה צנור וכלים נוספים להצלחה בענינים הכללים והצלחה גם בענינים הפרטים, ובטח גם זוג' תחי' תבוא בכתובים בהנוגע לעניני' היא הן בענינים הכללים והן בענינים הפרטים, ויהי' זה מתוך שמחה וטוב לבב ובריאות הנכונה דוקא.
