By the grace of Hashem,

Brooklyn,
I greet you and bless you,
After a long interruption, which was already causing me concern, I duly received your letter of this Tuesday, when twice the word "good" was said (note 1: During the Creation), announcing to me a good piece of news — the success of the medical treatment you underwent (note 2: This letter is addressed to a couple, and this concerns the wife). May Hashem grant that your state of health continue to improve. You surely retain the memory of what I have written to you many times (note 3: See letter no. 6676), concerning the message delivered by the saying of our masters and leaders: "If one tells oneself that all is well, all is indeed well." Furthermore, you have observed, with your eyes of flesh, the kindnesses of Hashem, and in such a case, the human intellect, including that of the animal soul, must think that all is well.
May Hashem grant that from the month of Kislev*, you both (note 4: The husband and the wife) intensify your dissemination of traditional Yiddishkeit* in every place you can reach. It will be permeated with Chassidic* warmth, enthusiasm, and vitality, in an ever-increasing and ever more luminous manner. With my blessing to give good tidings of all that has just been said, as well as of your own state of health (note 5: That of the husband),

לאחרי הפסק ארוך, אשר כבר גרם לדאגה, נתקבל מכתבם מיום השלישי שהוכפל בו כי טוב, מבשר טוב מהצלחת טפול הרפואי שלה...
ויהי רצון אשר ילך מצב בריאותה הלוך וטוב, ובודאי זוכרת מה שכתבתי לה כ"פ, תוכן פתגם רבותינו נשיאינו, טראכט גוט וועט זיין גוט, ובפרט לאחרי שראתה חסדי השי"ת בעיני בשר שאז גם השכל אנושי ואפילו השכל דנפש הבהמית, מכריחים, צו טראכטען גוט.
ויה"ר שמחדש כסלו הנה יוסיפו שניהם גם יחד בהפצת היהדות המסורתית בכל מקום שידם מגעת, חדורה חום התלהבות וחיות חסידותים, ובאופן דמוסיף והולך מוסיף ואור.
