You ask me about the date you should set for your wedding. If it is celebrated in Shevat* (note 1: In accordance with the Rebbe's teaching that a wedding, once it is set, should be celebrated as soon as possible), it should take place in its first half, according to our custom. If, for any reason, it must take place later, it is preferable to choose the month of Adar*. Indeed, the entirety of this month has been characterized as: "days of joy and festivity" (note 2: The Rebbe notes at the bottom of the page: "If important reasons lead to choosing the second half of the month of Shevat, you will assemble three Rabbanim. They will confirm that this date is the right one. It will then be at a good and fruitful time"). May Hashem grant that your decision be truly good in every respect.
