By the grace of Hashem,

To the leaders of the youth of the Chabad* association in our Holy Land, may it be restored and rebuilt, branch of the holy city of Yerushalayim*, may Hashem grant you long life,
I greet you and bless you,
I duly received your letter and the reports enclosed therewith. May Hashem grant that you give me good tidings of the dissemination of the wellsprings (note 1: Of Chassidus*) to the outside, in an ever-increasing manner. Indeed, this is precisely what must be done, since in this case it is clearly a matter of dissemination. Naturally, the same applies to the preparations for the Hilloula* of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit protects us, leader of our generation (note 2: The 10th of Shevat*). The merit of the public comes to your aid so that you meet with considerable success in this matter, emphasizing that we are in the bicentennial of the Hilloula* of the Baal Shem Tov*.
May Hashem grant that in this matter as well, the two extremes converge — the highest point, on the one hand, the Hilloula*, during which the soul receives an additional elevation and the concrete revelation — down to the lowest point, on the other hand, in daily action, throughout the year, the majority of whose days are mundane, as is self-evident. With my blessing to give good and detailed tidings of all this,

ויהי רצון שיבשרו טוב בעניני הפצת המעינות חוצה, באופן דמוסיף והולך, והרי זהו ג"כ תוכן הדרישה, יפוצו דוקא.
ובזה כמובן וגם פשוט, בהנוגע להכנה ליום ההילולא של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, נשיא דורנו.
והרי זכות הרבים מסייעתם להצלחה מופלגה בכל האמור, ביחד עם הנקודה שנמצאים אנו בשנת המאתים להסתלקות הילולא של הבעש"ט ז"ל.
ויהי רצון שגם בזה תתאחדנה שתי הנקודות, הגבוה גבוה יותר, שזהו ענין הילולא, שהנשמה עולה עוד עלי', ויומשך בהנוגע לפועל עד למטה מטה יותר, למעשה בחיי היום יומי במשך כל השנה, שרובה ימות החול דוקא. וק"ל.
