To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem, devotes himself to communal needs, of generous conduct, from an illustrious family, the Rav Sh. Z. (note 1: Shneur Zalman Shazar. See, regarding him, letter no. 7084),

I greet you and bless you,

You have surely already returned, in a favorable manner, to Eretz Yisrael*, may it be restored and rebuilt. I therefore address to you, within all of Israel, my warm wishes that you know elevation by putting into practice the words of our Sages*, according to which: "I was created only to serve my Creator," and by accomplishing what is most precious to us, Chassidim* of Chabad* — the dissemination of Chassidus* and its customs. Indeed, our Torah*, Torah* of life, considers that a link exists between spirituality and materiality. Moreover, it considers that the two are deeply intertwined (note 2: Showing that the latter is a reflection of the former).

Of course, this also includes my warm thanks for the help you provide to Kfar Chabad*, to the Chabad* neighborhood of Yerushalayim*, and to the other Chabad* institutions of the Holy Land, may it be restored and rebuilt. Our Sages* teach that one Mitzvah* draws another, and I therefore trust that the same will apply to the new Kfar Chabad* (note 3: Kfar Chabad* Beis), even though it is an extension of the previous one and will be for you the third Kfar Chabad* and, for me, only the second. You will accomplish all this in tranquility, joy, and enthusiasm, conducting your activities in an ever-increasing manner and with considerable success. With my respects and my blessing for a kosher and joyous Pesach* festival, as well as for giving me good tidings of all this,

בטח הגיע צלחה לאה"ק ת"ו, והרי בכל פעם שמגיעים לשם נקרא עלי', והנני שולח לו בתוככי כלל ישראל איחולי הלבביים לעלות מעלה מעלה בקיום דברי חכמינו ז"ל, אני לא נבראתי אלא לשמש את קוני, והחביב חביב לנו אנ"ש - הפצת תורת החסידות והדרכותי', וכיון שתורתנו תורת חיים מקשרת הענינים הרוחניים והגשמיים ועד לאחדות ביחוד גמור.

מובן שבהנ"ל כלולה גם תודתי חמה בעד הסיוע שלו לכפר חב"ד, שיכון החב"די בירושלים ת"ו ושאר מוסדות חב"ד באה"ק ת"ו. ועל פי מאמר רז"ל מצוה גוררת מצוה, תקותי חזקה שיהי' כן גם בנוגע לכפר חב"ד חדש (אף שבתור סניף לכפר חב"ד האמור), למנינו כפר חב"ד שלישי ולמניני כפר חב"ד שני, ויעשה בזה מתוך מנוחה ושמחה וטוב לבב, ובאופן דמוסיף והולך בפעילות ובהצלחה מופלגה.
